The actor lays out the special Arzberg porcelain for his new "Barefood Deli" restaurant in Hamburg.
With his new restaurant, Til Schweiger has gone for an ambiance which reflects and celebrates natural feelings of warmth, laughter, well-being and relaxation. It's all about sharing a good time with loving people, and products that capture this mood. Like the Barefoot porcelain collection which Arzberg has developed together with the renowned actor for his first restaurant venture. Each piece is created and produced in Germany. A creamy glaze gives this porcelain collection a natural and uncomplicated look, and the set is sensitively decorated with a tasteful coloured rim. This hand-painted border design is reminiscent of the colours of the ocean and is available in either stone grey or a dusty blue.
The restaurant name, "Barefood Deli", is based on Til Schweiger's production company "Barefoot" and also references his online shop "Barefoot Living". "The original idea was for a hotel which would feature products from the shop and allow guests to experience "Barefoot Living" in a natural setting" the film-maker said. And now that the restaurant has arrived first, a hotel at the Timmendorfer beach is scheduled to follow in May next year.
The Arzberg Barefoot collection consists of ten exquisite pieces which can be easily combined and expanded. This Arzberg Porcelain is a contemporary collection which fits the casual, feel-good ambiance of the new restaurant perfectly – and will no doubt feature prominently in Til Schweiger's films at some time in the future!
