»Barefoot Living« is essentially an attitude to life – about warmth, laughter, well-being and relaxation. It’s about having a good time with lovely people and products befitting of the occasion. Just like the Barefoot collection by Arzberg, which Til Schweiger has designed for Barefoot with our team. Every porcelain piece is produced in Germany. A creamy glaze gives the porcelain a natural and uncomplicated look, while the hand-painted »stone grey« and »dusty blue« border is reminiscent of the colours of the ocean.
Only a few, well-designed items are needed for a relaxed meal with friends. The Barefoot collection by Arzberg consists of ten pieces which can be easily combined and expanded. The new porcelain collection, which is now being used at the Barefood Deli and will soon be part of the equipment in Til Schweiger’s hotel at Timmendorf Beach, consists of a soup plate, a large bowl, snack plate, breakfast plate and dinner plate, a large and a small bowl, an egg cup as well as two drinking cups. The Barefoot Collection is available here and in selected retail stores.

Accompanied by plenty of media attention and lots of celebrity guests, Til Schweiger has opened his new restaurant, "Barefood Deli", in Hamburg. And we are thrilled to announce that we have been able to collaborate with this renowned actor to design and produce a special range of porcelain to mark this occasion. We also joined in the celebrations with Til and his other guests. Some of their impressions and, of course, photos of our Arzberg porcelain, are available here.
The restaurant name, "Barefood Deli", is based on Til Schweiger's production company "Barefoot" and also references his online shop "Barefoot Living". "The original idea was for a hotel which would feature products from the shop and allow guests to experience "Barefoot Living" in a natural setting" the film-maker said. And now that the restaurant has arrived first, a hotel at the Timmendorfer beach is scheduled to follow in May next year.
The Arzberg Barefoot collection consists of ten exquisite pieces which can be easily combined and expanded. This Arzberg Porcelain is a contemporary collection which fits the casual, feel-good ambiance of the new restaurant perfectly – and will no doubt feature prominently in Til Schweiger's films at some time in the future!
